New Horizons Haflingers located at Lilac Farms LLC is a small, private Haflinger breeding and training facility in central Michigan offering exceptional modern registered Haflinger sporthorses and pleasure horses for sale. Specializing in young horses that are handled daily, we usually have young sporthorse and breeding prospects available, and often have horses-in-training for sale or lease.
Our horses possess outstanding bloodlines, excellent movement and conformation, and wonderful temperament and character. Horses bred by us are excelling on the line and under saddle in dressage, western and English pleasure, hunter under saddle and jumping in breed and open shows, including USDF and USEF rated shows. All of our broodmares are proven performers as well, winning and placing at the top of their class in open USDF rated shows as well as breed shows. Our focus on quality versus quantity ensures that horses are handled daily and get the utmost attention and care. Our mares have been selected from the best bloodlines available, and we keep some of their exceptional offspring as future breeding and performance prospects.
With the owner living on the premises and managing the farm, you can be assured that outside horses receive the same care as our own. Our horses are fed high quality grass/alfalfa hay off of our own field and receive Alliance nutra glo products and grostrong minerals.
